Scholarship Application Process Each year, YCDFS accepts applications for scholarship support from high school seniors who reside in the City of York and who are attending William Penn High School, York County School of Technology, or York County High School. Scholarship applications can be obtained from the Guidance or College and Career Counseling Office at each of these schools.
Scholarship funds may be used at any post-secondary educational institution.
Due to recent economic conditions, we must limit our scholarship assistance to “first year” assistance – funds to graduating seniors who are about to enter post-secondary education. This limitation does not apply to graduates who have completed the YORK CITY SCHOLARS program. These students are eligible for four years of scholarship assistance. Post high-school scholarship applications for York City Scholars are available on our“How
Do I Get A Scholarship” page.
