FAFSA: Free Application for Federal Scholarship Assistance. This U.S. Department of Education form is the basic financial assistance form used by most colleges. It may be completed on-line if you follow directions to get a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for your self and a parent or guardian. It may also be downloaded, completed by hand and sent.
