Scholarship Application Process
Each year, YCDFS accepts applications for scholarship support from high school seniors who reside in the City of York and who are attending William Penn High School, York County School of Technology, or York County High School. Scholarship applications can be obtained from the Guidance or College and Career Counseling Office at each of these schools.
Scholarship funds may be used at any post-secondary educational institution.
Scholarship recipients may be eligible for up to four years of scholarship
assistance, provided that they make adequate annual progress toward
program completion. YCDFS will provide guidelines and will make
renewal applications available annually.
The
Deadline to Submit a First-Year
Application is: March 1, 2008.
William
Penn students must submit their
completed application to the College and Career Office by 3:00 PM
on March 1, 2008. Applications received after the deadline will be rejected.
York
City students from the York County
School of Technology or York
County High School must mail
their application, post-marked
no later than March 1, 2008,
to York City Dollars for Scholars,
P.O. Box 5112, York, PA 17405-5112.
