Scholarship Application Process
Each year, YCDFS accepts applications for scholarship support from high school seniors who reside in the City of York and who are attending William Penn High School, York County School of Technology, York Adams Academy, or a PA-approved public charter school. Scholarship applications can be obtained from the Guidance or College and Career Counseling Office at each of these schools and will be linked here as a downloadable pdf document
Scholarship funds may be used at any post-secondary educational institution.
Scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors and are to be applied to the costs of a first year of college or other post-secondary program. Scholarships are paid directly to the institution of higher education. Normally, a half-payment is made as a student enters the institution with the second half of the scholarship award paid as the student pays for a second semester of the school year.
